There are times when wants to be fab and splurge a bit.however there are times when one must really watch their pennies.Therefore for those Traveling Savvy Fashionistas around ,this Hotel Tip !!!is a true budget hotel and will do the trick when in Berlin for a day or two and you don’t mind the no frills atmosphere !!!! I went to Hotel-Berlin-Aldea which is located pretty central granted the corner of this hotel is not your usual glamor area of the city however it still not horrible!!!Located in the very urban and eclectic district of Schoeneberg and is close to the Metro train station Buelow Strasse and in close vicinity to thePotsdamerplatz and Berlin‘s Famous Ka De We Department store and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall you are really in the mix of things here .Me being truly daring I decided to try out Hotel-Berlin-Aldea so off I went into this hotel and for roughly 25 Euro for the night I was really not sure of what to expect the hotel considered a three star hotel!!!! I must admit I did go with trepidation.Entering the lobby I was immediately surprised about the outdated decor. I was at that point not sure of what I was expecting but then again the lobby was clean and the service, friendly considering I had just come at the same time with a bus group!!!!Ugh!!!!!but I was taken to the side and given my room on the 7h floor!!!It was all a little dark and airy but I went to the elevators which were old and not very appealing but the place was really clean!!!and since I am one for cleanliness I did not get turned off!!!!! remember this was a budget hotel not for the uptight !!!With my key I went into my room which was pretty large with two beds and a small TV which I guess since there was Free Internet Yipppeee!!!!I was not going to complain at all!!!!
The bathroom to my surprise seemed to have been redone over it was small but really clean and modern !!!! so it made up for the old furniture in the Bedroom!!!With ample closet space the Room was nothing to write home about!!!I slept that night well not great but the bed linen was clean and the bed moderately comfortable!!!!It’s a goods place when you don’t have much funds and the staff are friendly.Idid not have breakfast but for a small extra fee of under 10 Euro they offer a continental breakfast!!!
The hotel is for when your funds are low and your looking for a place to crash Hotel-Berlin-Aldea!!!!
will do!!Its Safe ,Clean and Central what more can one ask for when on a Fashionable Budget in Berlin!!!!
