I was told about this studio ,concert hall in the very gritty .multi cultural district of Wedding .
It took me a while ,however now that I have found this place it will remain a must do when in Berlin. Regardless of whether Jazz or Classical music this refurbished former warehouse /garage has become a place that is a must when in Berlin. On this evening the concert was from the pianist Michael Abramovich performing Fredric Chopin .
The performance from this young artist was not only good and intense ,however the atmosphere of this concert hall makes a musical performance all the more special. The fee is by donation meaning you give what you can on this evening due to the wonderful concert and due to the fact that this concept is self financed ,I felt t compelled that I must help conserve young inspiring artists and concepts such as this. The atmosphere very quirky with a mix of old furniture, paintings, and old instruments. The Concert hall also has a small make shift bar which is also conducive to the artistic atmosphere. The crowd a good mix of old and young, hip and traditional ,it is a venue that welcomes all which makes this place even more special..The Piano Salon Christophori is a place that I must say when in Berlin!it is a must go and be musically enthralled.
Concerts are not performed every day so check out their website for performances.
