Today was a good start in Berlin I attended the show at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin for a Young designer that I have been watching for the last few monthsFranziska Michael!!!!It’s not only because I was familiar with her work in the past, but this time I was at her first presentation at the Mercedes Fashion week in Berlin which was presented in the Designers Salon her Fall Winter 2013/14 Collection was an interesting and clean cut solid collection and for this young designer collection it turned out to be well executed ,the collection was a mixture of Trends that one has seen in the men and womenswear wear here in Berlin the last two days which is the Classic bomber Jacket, but also wide silhouettes that lend towards a modern optic and style, it’s a little less flashy,more individualistic pieces that are easy to wear and are not always body conforming.!!Its about an easiness in the collection and a modern Nonchalance Urban Chic is how I would define this collection!!!The colors included Red ,White,Orange- Salmon tones, Gold and a Dark Bronze tone that goes in to the fall winter Green hues I must mention the stand out Pieces were the Gold Silhouettes for both Men and Women which were combined with a graphic print that I thought was Ueber Hip and veryBerlin!!!! and very Berlin and then the silhouettes!! it’s good to see young talent inBerlin doing it their way and it’s our job to get their fashion message out!!!!!!
