Memorials of Berlin that are worth a quick visit!!!!

We are all familiar with the History of the Holocaust but this morning while running i vcisited two monuments that I feel can be visited anytime and are free for anyone to view without necessary buying a ticket. They are the Daniel Liebeskind monument that pays homage to the Million of Jews persecuted during the Holocaust. These eloquent and austere blocks are moving and is a place of silence and powerful energy in its pure decoration.Across the street is another moving monument   built by Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset  in honor of the Thousands of Gays and Lesbians persecuted by the Nazi regime. This monument  also gives us a strong reminder that evil and ignorance can destroy so much. These monuments are an honor to so many lives that will never be forgotten. So when in Berlin and have a little time visit these two moving monuments!!!

Berlin a city that constantly reflects on it’s past.

Love Sean
