Today as I work often as a Personal Shopper I had a client who I decided to test a few pieces on ,
This was a real authentic day in that she is a young modern working girl in Berlin, that needed a few pieces white blouses to be exact for the office!But never the less I was able to seduce her into trying out new looks and naturally we found her blouses surprisingly from Hugo and later from Comptoir des Cottonniers and both were relatively inexpensive!!!!!!!!!which also makes me happy,style on a budget.
The most interesting thing is to find new looks for women and men that they normally would never buy for themselves and later think hey!!!!!that may work for me.
Fashion is definitely about testing your boundaries not every day but every now and then! and I like the new looks it’s about testing our style and ourselves!
We were able to look at some pieces from Closed who have a good reliable fit!
Then we tried a jacket and blouse from Tara Jarmon in a Forest Green and purple ,The coat was cool in that it had touch of the Traditional Tirolean style with a slight cosmopolitan twist, so it was pretty a classic that had been totally revamped for today!!!!The look reminded me immediately of the great 60s couturier Courreges,Tara Jarmon who I have learned to like since I saw her shop in Paris is the Parisian girls darling this Canadian born woman has captured the french girls designers heart!!!!!and then finally a ¾ sleeve jacket that was also to die for and reasonably priced from that also called back to the era of the 60s from French Connection
I wanted to talk about belts, wide belts are vitally important so we tried one and it worked so well that I cannot do without them right now!!!!
I tell my clients and friends at this time to try and buy a few Belts they will pep up your wardrobe and keep your wallet still full,since normally belts are pretty affordable and come in all styles and price points!
