Dries Van Noten & Andreas Murkurdis present Carpet Art by Alexandra Kehayoglou

This weekend is Art Weekend in Berlin,so I was presented and honored to have the chance to privately work with this Fashion House and then get the opportunity to get an exclusive preview for two days only an exhibition from May 2-3. A carpet exclusively made for the   last Spring Summer collection show for Dries Van Noten created by the Argentine  Carpet Artist Alexandra Kehayoglou.

The carpet design evokes moss and grass green pastures. The carpet is made from pure Patagonian wool and is a true piece of mastery stemming from an old Greek weaving craft. The idea behind the carpet came from the Dries Van Noten’s Inspiration from Summer Festivals and Shakespeare’s   “A Midsummer Nights Dream”.The Presentation was a true Berlin experience of creativity combined with a cool venue.Located at the Kaufhaus Hertzog this is a quite unique place to view a true piece of Modern Art.
