The main idea of our Cabaret fashion story was the 1920’s opulence and a fur can work wonders. We tried it with two options one with a complete coat from Yves Salomon that naturally was a little over the top but perfect for the Cabaret theme and when thinking of Sally Bowles made sense. The second coat from Tara Jarmon was truly 20’s inspired, from the fur collar to the very interesting egg form of the coat. I loved the combination of the sleeves with knit and wool, wonderfully modern and boheme at the same time!

The Optic of the boucle wool coat from D&G with the silk Leopard lining that we used inside out was amazing. I love the fact that they made the inside of the coat just as exciting as the wool side of the coat.
so we used the coat to be worn on both sides and you have two in one!

Since we were doing an homage to Cabaret we could not forget a little bit of razzle dazzle and that we found in the awesome vintage dress from Nolita, in green and in the short dress in a Metal Blue tone from Patrizia Pepe very razzle dazzle they both had beading and as we know a little beading can do wonders on a dress when done appropriately.

We later used a mini dress in jersey from a company called Turnover, simple but with tons of effect. The interesting thing about all of the dresses is how they fell very easy and all in jersey. That was not planned but seemed to just fit to the story.

The handbags add just a little extra. Two models are from Gretchen, a young Berlin designer
I adore. They have class with lots of sass! And let’s not forget our Grande dame bag from Chloe.
I am a sucker for designer handbags but this it bag is truly over the top in the best way!

LOVE
