The Bar “Felsenkeller”a bit of tradition !

Berlin has a few places that one should check out if not for the food then for the decor. The Möve im Felsenkeller Bar has been in Berlin for ages and still has both old and young coming.

Located in Berlin’s Schoeneberg district in the very popular Akazienstrasse here you find tons of cafes, restaurants, and fashion shops this is one of those neighborhood’s that make you feel at ease, so of course this Bar really makes one feel like a Berliner since this Bar/Restaurant is really a place where the locals go for thier daily dose of Beer and to Dine. The original interior  takes one back in time ,since the old  furniture and wall panels are authentic dating from the 40’s and 50’s so one feels like one hast stepped back in time. The service very laid back but cordial. The food was quite original very German but oh so good. For this evening I had a Salad  made from Red beets and Fish Hering, served with the traditional Dark German bread as for my   date he had the traditional German Sausage with a terrific  well seasoned Potato salad. The evening was fun the crowd at times a little older but the food when one wants something traditional and  not too pricy with a good Beer then Felsenkeller is a good deal.Step baclk in time at Möve im Felsenkeller .
