I Met the chef of this place by accident and when he told me he opened his own restaurant in Berlin’s ultra hip and gritty district of Neu Koelln, I knew I was into something unique.This Place is a multi functional place it’s a place to hang out and work, network and view art when there are exhibitions taking place.Agora is the modern think tank system of a new generation.The Chef who is not a trained cook but a Visual Artist came upon cooking by accident.With the restaurants quirky but unique atmosphere and friendly service you realize your in a unique place.I felt at ease and at home.
I started off with a tea and later with a starter that I adored a cabbage salad with a spicy mango salad that i literally fell in love with!!!Later it was off to a vegetarian meal of apricots with goat cheese and a red beet puree!!!!!The food is original,and eclectic and best of all it’s not expensive. I left Agora paying 20 Euro for two courses and a drink which i feel is worth it and the place with it’s funky vibes is the right place to go chill and dine in Berlin!!!!!!
