Time has come to pull out your royal wedding hat again, or (just for the case you weren’t invited) to use your fantasy and create one: Maison Victor , the hat party will take off on saturday, the 10h of september at 9,00 p.m. in Teehaus Chen Chè, Rosenthaler strasse 13. Dress code: no hat, no entry.
Let’s not forget that the best head pieces according to a special head-related jury will be rewarded with memorable prizes.
This week Sean and I took the chance to pay a visit to Fiona Bennett in her new Atelier, in the Schönhauser Strasse 35, the Salon Bennett, to see the artist at work. It is truly worth it. Fiona’s highly dramatic, magnificent, theatrical, at times ironic hat couture creations are expecting you in a nostalgic secret parlour, ready to seduce you with their supreme elegance and subtle eroticism – enhanced by a remote possibility to accidentally bump into Brad Pitt on his way back from a fitting while you are waiting for the elevator. A new collection “KISS” featuring knitted caps, scarves, berets and earwarmers in the finest alpaca wool will help to keep your brain warm thoughout the winter (boy, what an early start this year!). “KISS by Fiona Bennet” will literary kiss your head!
