Yeah we have all been there in a city funds are low but we have to eat.Therefore the fun colorful Cantina Dolores which has become a Berlin place to dine when on a budget or just when your in the mood for some some good Californian Gourmet Burritos.Dolores serves up some good mexican inspired food and at a budget friendly price .
I decided to travel to Schoeneberg to the U bahn station Wittenbergplatz,which is well known since the Department store KaDeWe is just a few meters away so this restaurant it is truly centrally located.
The restaurant is a combination between a hamburger joint and a diner.However the most important thing is the food and good food.The decor colorful and open so that even when one dines alone you will feel comfortable.Whether for lunch or dinner here you can take a seat relax and enjoy the relatively young and easy going atmosphere.I went with a friend where we were able to talk a bit and just enjoy our inexspensive meals.I ordred a vegetable potatoe soup with mushrooms and later a buritto with avacado,beans,rice ,and lettuce and tomato with sour cream sounds good and I will admit this meal was exactly what I wanted both dishes were well seasoned and the portions were quite large indeed.I must say I was surprised about this place i had no idea that the food would be good and the young relaxed atmosphere would be a good option when you want to get a quick meal!!!Viva Dolores Lunch or Dinner it does not matter but when on a budget it is the real deal!!!
Dolores has two Locations one in the East Side of Berlin and the other in the western side of Berlin regardless of where you go,eat and enjoy.
