We ask ourselves often where do we go for a good bite that is not mad crazy and still has good food and a cool vibe?Well the other night I discovered a cute little Restaurant in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district.

“Cevicheria”is a sparse but nicely decorated restaurant that has an inviting appeal. We wanted to dine here but we were told all tables were reserved but still it did not matter since I really had not intended to stay late.So were given a nice small table and were warmly greeted which made ,me smile and I genuinely felt welcomed.I guess I was getting a little Latin warm welcoming. My date and I were a little unsure of what to have but after relaxing we ordered a white wine and a pineapple spritzer. The waiter whisked away and returned to my surprise from the kitchen with a little surprise

which were clams that are topped with a vegetable spicy salsa sauce incredible in taste, which had us craving more .After having a brief conversation with our waiter we decided to order as starters a dish of potatoes with a huancaina which is a spicy yellow sauce , my date on the other hand had a tartar marinated scallops with yellow chili, potatoes and thin slices

of truffles both dishes both were unique and exotic ,i must say that one does recognize that the chef in the kitchen has not only a passion for the Peruvian cuisine but achieves both a modern edge with these

traditional but still amazing dishes. After having had our appetizers,we were enjoying our relaxed evening and then received our main course which was a vegetarian dish of mashed pumpkin with a poached egg, feta cheeses, baby spinach and truffles, this dish was exotic and the different ingredients all blended well to create a creative and tasty dish. The evening at Cevicheria was a great deal of fun and the food was good ,the atmosphere relaxed, and service nice over all a place that I will return to.The prices were terribly fair we paid roughly 35 Euro and it was worth every penny.
